Nvidia is a computer graphics, AI and machine learning company, and one of the largest companies by market cap in the world. The company were founded by three engineers, Curtis Priem, Chris Malachowsky and Jen-Hsun Huang (more commonly known as "Jensen"), in 1993.

The company is most well known for its line of consumer-oriented graphics cards, starting with the (perhaps aptly named) NV1 in 1995, with the most recent product line (the GeForce RTX 50 series, based off of their 18th major GPU architecture, Blackwell) being launched in 2025, although the vast majority of their revenue in the modern era originates from server and machine learning-oriented products, rather than consumer or workstation graphics. They have generally, with the exception of the very first NV1, the GeForce FX series (NV30), launched in 2003, and the most recent RTX 50-series, had an at least "good" reputation among gamers for performance, driver stability and quality, although their business practices have often been criticised.
